Koroneiki Olive

The Koroneiki olive is a variety of olive from Greece that is primarily used in olive oil production. Koroneiki olives are cultivated throughout the Peloponnese and are among the most common and best suited for high-density cultivation systems worldwide, as their fruits, although small, have a high oil yield. The homeland of the Koroneiki olive is the region of Koroni in the Peloponnese, but it has now been planted in other areas where it is also known as Psilolia, Ladolia, etc.
